The Nepal Robotics Olympiad, organized by the Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN), is a national-level competition where students in grades 7–12 design robotic solutions to address disaster response and societal issues. The competition includes school workshops, regional rounds, and a national final whose winning teams move on to represent Nepal at the global AI for Good – Robotics for Good Youth Challenge in Geneva.
Eligibility Criteria for RAN

Open to students in grades 7 through 12 (junior and senior divisions).

Teams of 2–4 members plus optional mentors.
 - 
Must register via schools or through regional workshops coordinated by RAN.
 - 
Commit to participating in workshops, regional qualifiers, and the national final.
 
How to apply for RAN
- 
Register your team through your school or via regional RAN workshops (Aug–Jan).
 - 
Attend AI for Good preparatory training workshops offered to registered teams.
 - 
Compete in regional rounds, typically held in January.
 - 
Winners advance to the National Final (late February).
 - 
Top junior & senior teams are selected to represent Nepal at the International Robotics for Good Youth Challenge in Geneva.
