AI for Climate Action Award 2025 – Empowering AI Solutions for Climate Resilience
The AI for Climate Action Award 2025 is a global competition organized by the UNFCCC Technology Executive Committee, in partnership with the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The award seeks to identify and promote impactful AI solutions that support climate adaptation and mitigation efforts in LDCs and SIDS. Finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects at the 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Brazil.
Eligibility Criteria for AI for climate change

Open to individuals aged 18 and above, regardless of nationality.

Submissions must be open-source, AI-powered solutions addressing climate adaptation or mitigation in LDCs or SIDS.

Applications are welcome from individuals, teams, startups, organizations, or any other type of entity.
