The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (DoEIA) is delivered in Nepal by Saksham Yuwa Nepal in partnership with schools, NGOs, and community groups. Since 2015, it has expanded to over 100 institutions, empowering youth aged 14–24 with structured challenges across four core areas to develop life skills, confidence, service, and adventurous spirit.

Anyone can start at Bronze, then progress to Silver and Gold.

Activities should be appropriately planned and supervised by local Award Leaders.
How to apply for Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Nepal

Join through an Award Centre—partner schools, NGOs, or youth organizations (e.g., Saksham Yuwa Nepal’s programs or participating schools).

Register as a participant and choose your Award level (Bronze/Silver/Gold).

Plan and document activities in Volunteering, Skills, Physical Recreation, and Adventurous Journey (plus Residential for Gold).

Use the official Online Record Book (ORB) to log progress under guidance.

Complete the required duration and receive validation from trained Award Leaders.
