Canadian Open Mathematicians Challenges – Your Chance to prove yourself

Organized annually by the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS), the COMC is a challenging 2.5-hour math competition held every October. It encourages high school students to engage with advanced mathematical thinking beyond the classroom. Top scorers are invited to further national competitions and may qualify to represent Canada internationally.

Eligibility Criteria for COMO

Must be a full-time student in Grades 7–12 (or CEGEP in Quebec)

Must be under 19 years of age as of June 30 of the contest year

Open to Canadian and international students
