International Poster Competition – ISLP

Organized by the International Statistical Literacy Project (ISLP), the ISLP Poster Competition encourages teams of 1–5 students to create posters that visualize statistical insights. The contest has national and international phases; international winning posters are displayed at the 65th World Statistics Congress in The Hague (October 5–9, 2025).

Eligibility Criteria for ISLP

  • Teams of 1 to 5 students, registered by teachers or faculty.

  • Age categories: elementary (9–11), lower secondary (12–15), upper secondary (16–18), and undergraduate level (before thesis stage).

  • Participants must create original statistical posters—no specific topic requirement; data analysis and communication must be clear and compelling.

How to apply for ISLP

  • Teams register via their national coordinator between February 1 and May 23, 2025.

  • National coordinators collect and judge entries at the national level.

  • National winners’ posters are submitted to ISLP by May 23, 2025 for international judging.

  • International winners are announced and posters exhibited at the World Statistics Congress in October.
