Eligibility Criteria for MEXT

Nationality: Must be a citizen of a country with diplomatic relations with Japan.

Undergraduate: Under 25 years old (typically born after April 2, 2000).

Master’s/PhD: Under 35 years old (typically born after April 2, 1990).

Undergraduate: Completed 12 years of school education.
