Nepal Chemistry Olympiad
The Nepal Chemistry Olympiad is an annual contest for high school students under the age of 20. It is monitored by Student Teacher Association of Nepal (STAN). It involves three stages: the first is district selection, which involves multiple-choice questions; the second is state selection, which involves a mix of multiple-choice questions and subjective questions; and the third is final selection, which involves a mix of subjective and multiple-choice questions. Top 4 students will be selected to represent Nepal in International Chemistry Olympiad.
Eligibility Criteria for Necho
High school students of Nepal under Age 20 are eligible to participate in this program.
Gap year students can also participate.
How to apply for Necho
You need to fill up the Online Registration form that opens in Late December every year. The registration fee is NPR 1000, but waivers are available for those who demonstrate financial need.
