The Nepal Mathematics Olympiad (NMO) is a national competition organized by the Mathematical Association of Nepal (MAN), aiming to identify and nurture mathematical talent among students. The competition serves as a selection process for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), where top performers represent Nepal on the global stage. Students have to first participate in the district math olympiad, which happens in every district. It consists of 50 MCQ questions, and those scoring more than 50% qualify for the next round. After the final selection round, the top 6 students will be selected to represent Nepal in IMO.
