Nepal Young Physicists’ Tournament
The Nepal Young Physicists’ Tournament is an annual physics competition for high school students interested in physics. Nepal Astronomical Society monitors it. It involves three rounds: Report submission, Online presentation, and Final selection. Every year, IYPT releases 16-18 problems. Students are required to submit a detailed report to any one of the problems following the instructions. Afterwards, they are required to give a short online presentation of their report. Lastly, Students will attend a closed camp where they will get more knowledge about the tournament. Final selection involves a presentation round. Lastly, top 5 students will be selected to represent Nepal in IYPT.
Eligibility Criteria for NYPT
High school students (8-12) across Nepal are Eligible to participate in this tournament.
How to apply for NYPT
You need to fill up the online registration form, which typically opens in January every year.
The cost of registration is NPR 1000.
